Customer Review: good exercise bike but keep away from the computer!

This bike uses magnets for resistance and they may wipe a computer's memory if the bike is located too close to a computer. The magnets are in a beefy plastic cover but better safe than sorry. My bike was about 4-5 feet from my computer and the weekend after purchase, the 'help' features stopped working on one of my computer's programs. It may be a coincidence, but again, better safe than sorry. My advice is to store this and a computer in separate rooms. Also, if you plan to use a laptop while riding... better check with a computer expert because your laptop's software may be affected. This Confidence Foldable Stow Away Exercise Bike is perfect for my use. It appears to be well built, takes up little space, is easy to assemble and extremely quiet. The seat--like most factory seats--isn't too comfortable after a while and the "Sunlite Cloud Nine Gel seat cover" I purchased doesn't make much of a difference--(but it does fit perfectly). Think I'll try some memory foam under it. The computer is adequate if you're not too "techno"--I got the bike to get exercise not for another computer. The The bike itself gets 5 stars. It probably isn't adequate for the super serious cycler in training.Customer Review: Great Little Bike

It has been a month since I got this bike and I have ridden it almost every day. Everything is still steady. I needed something to add to my usual cardio in the evening when I come home and something that did not require extra effort and was convinient. It is small and I can watch TV while riding. It is quiet,has good resistance and it fits my needs. It was easy to put together. I am 5 ft and the pedals fit me, no issues with seat adjustments and height. The seat is hard but after a while of consistent riding my behind has adjusted to it. It is a perfect addition to my daily exersice routine.Customer Review: Like my bike

I'm so glad I got this exercise bike from Amazon.com. It was recommended by my son who has one, and it is as good as he said it is.
Even though it's freezing and windy outside I can watch a half hour show or the news and get a good workout (in good weather I play as much tennis as I can). As I pedal I add a variety of arm exercises to tone and to increase the cardio effect.
This exercycle is compact and quiet, the seat is extremely comfortable, and it is easy to move across the room or to fold and put out of the way.
A very good value. I definitely recommend it.

Having a budget of 200.00 for exercise equipment; I needed to research as much as possible on the type and dependabilty of the product.
I chose this bike due to the number of excellent reviews it received and because it doesn't need to be plugged in. The bike itself is foldable to reduce storage space when not in use, however in its unfolded state it doesn't take up much room at all. The bike is quiet and offers good resistance and a comfortable seat. the onboard electronics are simple and easy to use.
All and all a very good buy for under 200 bucks.
