I've had the bike for about a week. It's great! I'm really surprised how sturdy it is, considering how compact (relatively) and light-weight it is. I'm not sure what all the complaints are about. First of all, I found the bike easy to put together (1/2 hour or so). Also, I am a 5'5" woman, and it seems to fit me perfectly with the seat adjusted to the fourth hole from the top, so I don't see how someone my height would have a problem touching the pedals, considering I have 3 holes to adjust the seat lower (I could lower the seat about 4 inches if I wanted to). In response to an earlier post, I'm not sure if it would fit a 4'11" person. I think so, but your 10 year old may have to stretch a little bit, although I'm sure they'll grow into it. I was also expecting it to be 50+ lbs. I weighed it, and it's 37 lbs. or so. Not bad, considering that it's got wheels. I like that there's a perfect place to set your water bottle in front of you where the frame is split. And although I wouldn't call it comfortable, it's not uncomfortable. Oh, and for the record, I've been using it for at least 45 min every day, it it's just fine.
Overall, a great buy if you're on a budget and would like a machine that saves space. Well built, resistance is good, compact, and relatively inexpensive.

This is probably the best online purchase I've made over the past 5 years. This bike is compact, simple, and can't be beat for the price.
Detractors will say it doesn't have enough resistance. This may be true if you're a cycling enthusiast, but for regular joes like myself the resistance is more than adequate. It has 8 resistance settings and I usually work out at a 4 or 5.
I'm very happy with the stability and simplicity of this bike, and have been recommending it to any of my friends who are looking for a way to exercise without paying costly gym fees.
UPDATE: After about 6 months of using the bike non-stop it started to "skip" a little bit. I took it apart and it turns out the belt had grooves on it that were either wearing down or completely stripped. I searched and searched online for a replacement but it's a specialty belt, made just for this bike as far as I can tell. I contacted Confidence to ask about buying a replacement belt. They asked me to send them pictures of the belt, I did, and they said they'd send a replacement. A few days later I recieved a WHOLE NEW BIKE for free! I would have been happy with just the belt, but this is good too :) So I guess you could say it's a slightly flawed product, but amazing customer service.

Confidence Foldable Stow Away Exercise Bike I spent time on the Internet looking for an Excercise Bike that would not take up allot of space but would still be sturdy. I had my concerns but after reading the reviews I ordered it. I received the Bike in great condition and followed the instructions. I assembled in less than 30 minutes. This Bike is exactly what I wanted. It is very sturdy and folds up for storing. It has wheels to make it even easier. The onboard computer is great keeping track of calories burned, time on the unit and more. I am amazed at the quality of this bike. The settings give the resistance that I need, starting off on #3 and riding for 8 miles. I got the Bike to help give me a Cardio work out that would be easy on my joints. It does exactly that. With my workout and calorie intake adjustment, I have already shed some pounds and feel better physically and mentally. I am male 5'10" 176 lbs. 59 years young. The seat can be adjusted up for someone taller. This Bike is a great value. I enjoy it very much, so much my wife wants to use it too.Customer Review: Exactly as expected- it is not fancy, but nice.

I am a male in late 20s and in decent shape, but not great. I have to use max tension and peddle pretty fast, but it does get my heart rate going and a little sweat when I do it for 15+ minutes. Another reviewer mentioned using your arms. I sit on the floor and do this for a few minutes in each direction. It is a nice upper body workout.
Instructions were pretty bad, but really not needed. 4 square bolts- 4 square holes, 2 round bolts-2 round holes... The 2 feet, handle bars, seat and lcd display are the only things that need to be put on.
The parts all seem to be strong and high quality. I wish the seat would go higher (6'4") since my legs can't extend. My pant legs rubbing and my breathing makes more noise than the bike.
There aren't many features, but for the price, that is expected. It is great for when the weather or time doesn't permit jogging, tennis or some other form of exercise. If I were planning on riding an excercise bike for a 30+ min per day everyday, then this is not the right bike. If unsure you will use a bike, or as a backup means of exercise, this bike is great. No regrets.

I bought this over other similar products because of the (generally) positive reviews that I saw on here. I agree with pretty much the consensus on the product in that it is super quiet, very solid/sturdy, and the price was fantastic. The one thing that I saw other people list as a negative point was the assembly, which I thought was extremely easy and straight-forward. I thought that attaching the seat to the stand was a bit of a pain with the included tool, so I just used a wrench that I had at home, and that was really the only disagreeable experience that I had with the assembly, which was easily bypassed.
However, in accord with others' reviews, the seat is *extremely* uncomfortable, which I remedied through the purchase of a gel-cover at a local bike store. I had ordered one of the suggested ones off of Amazon, but it turns out that it didn't actually fit the seat, which was a bit of an inconvenience. I would recommend getting a seat cover at a place where you can actually *see* it to make sure that it will fit. Overall, I'm super happy with this product.
