I've only had this clock for a little while, but I've been very happy with it. It looks good, feels solid, and has a lot of nice options. It's not in the same league with the high end Chronos clocks, but if you're a casual player who isn't playing in tourneys constantly this should be more than sufficient.
While looking over some other reviews on other sites, I noticed that there were a few people who thought it a little hard to understand how to set it up right away. While I'm willing to say that it isn't 100% intuitive, it's not hard either. I had it figured out (with a little help from the user manual) in less than 10 minutes. After only a few uses, it's second nature.
This is the first digital clock I've owned and I don't see myself going back to the analog ones. The read-out is easy to see from all angles and is large enough that you can see your time with a glance.
So there you go. Consider this clock to be a good middle ground option between the cheap ones and the ones that might be out of your price range (or needs).

ChessCentral's Competition Pro game clock is a fullfeatured digital game timer you can rely on. This chess clock is rugged enough for everyday use, and yet advanced enough to have many timing features built in. Whether for home, club or serious tournaments this clock will meet the most demanding requirements. The Competition Pro is suitable for a variety of games, from competitive chess matches to family games of Scrabble. Easy to use, sleek and stylish - the large LCD screens display remaining time down to the second. The simple controls offer 25 timer modes (3 of them user programmable) including Hourglass, Blitz, FIDE/ECU/Traditional Tournament, Fischer, Bronstein, Delay and Word Modes. The 4-way control pad offers easy mode selection and editing, and the two large LCD displays feature digits 17mm high. In addition, our large lever time control buttons with colors and lighting allow 360º visibility with optional on/off for illumination and sound. An excellent digital chess and game timer!
