I've been on a camping supplies spree lately, and after returning or replacing a number of items, I have to say I was pretty surprised with this set. It's GREAT!!! The colors are bright and vivid (red with speckles, as shown in the photos), there are NO sharp edges, and the utensils bag is a nice plus. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I'd like the silverware to be a touch "tougher"... they're sturdy and will hold up I'm sure, but I don't want to feel like I might bend my fork while eating a steak. Also, and this is just me being picky, I really wish there was a case or bag of some sort to keep everything together. Then again, everything will eventually end up in a plastic bin, so who cares!Customer Review: Great set!

We bought 2 sets of the dishes to take on our camping trips. After reading some other reviews I was hesitant because of the shipping concerns and purchasing a new item that would arrive damaged. I was also concerned about their ability to hold up as we have 4 teenage boys and I didn't want to purchase dishes that would chip easily. Our sets arrived in perfect condition and they have been banged around quite a bit and are holding up wonderfully. I love that the silverware comes in bag. That is really handy! I would rate this a 5 star if they included a case to carry the dishes in as the mugs make the set rather bulky but that is a small complaint in comparison to the actual dishes.Customer Review: Good inexpensive product

We got these dishes three years ago for our family camping trips and they work just fine and have held up well. The finish has chipped in a very small spot on two of the cups over time but that is not a problem for us because the cups are still sturdy and useful and when we're out in the woods we don't really care what the elk think of our dinnerware! The cups - including the handle - can be very hot when you first pour hot coffee in them though, the upside being that the coffee cools down more slowly than in one of our coffee cups at home. We were looking for something functionally sturdy at a fairly low price and these fit the bill well for us.Customer Review: Very good set

I really appreciated having this set for our most recent camping trip. It was nice not to have to use paper products. We have only used it for one trip so far but all of the pieces including the utensils seem to be of good quality. The plates and bowls are also a nice size. The only complaint I have is that the spoons are too big. They are soup spoon size and I prefer a smaller spoon. It also makes it difficult for my kids to use the spoons. I am very happy with this purchase and plan to buy an additional set. It would be nice if there was a storage bag or if the box it came end would hold up a little better for storage.Customer Review: love the classic campset

We have used these dishes on several camping trips. They are great, very sturdy, and are way better than paper plates. You just have to be careful when putting hot food on them, the dishes themselves get hot as well. I wish there was a carrying case for the dishes like the flatware. I bought a small tote with a lid to store them in when not in use, but also use for a wash basin when camping. It works out well. Well worth the price for what you get.
