Well I got what I expected to get, and that was a decent lantern at a decent price with great portability. This lantern is good for a small 1-2 person tent, but not much more than that. I agree with another reviewer and wish it gave out just a little more light, but I am not going to buy another product that may have better light output at the price of increasing size. I am a backpacker, and weight and size of everything I carry is a big issue. For the price and size, this is a great personal lantern, but not much more.Customer Review: For the price, a decent lamp.

This lantern is compact and the triangle shape fits neatly and comfortably into your hand. The batteries at the bottom provide a enough weight at the base to keep the lantern steady. The hook at the top is a little cheesy, and I'm not confident that it will hold up over the long term, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. The lamp puts out a decent amount of bright white light, and will easily illuminate a tent. For the price, you're getting a good product.Customer Review: Nice compact design.

Nice compact design. The handle on top can be cleverly camouflage as it folds on itself. At the back, you can raise a panel to expose a reflector panel. This way you block some lights at the back and direct more lights to the front. Very lightweight and just perfect to hang in the tent.
This lantern uses three AAs batteries. Not as bright as my other compact LED lanterns.

This little light is great for camping, whether in the tent or the non-electric cabin. Cheap and small enough to pack two or more--one for every room in that cabin where you have to see your way around. While I wouldn't use this light to read by, it's a good, inexpensive light to hang in a 2-3 person tent. The diffuser helps to scatter the light that the 2 LEDs produce, giving this light good coverage in a smaller space. The case seems durable. I like that this lamp sips power.
