My son got this as a gift when he was 3years old for bug hunting. He slep with it for the first year and never left home without it! It went camping, fishing, overnight stays, and everywhere in between. I was so suprised that it was the one thing he never miss placed or forgot. Now 4 years later it's still going strong! I have a three year old son and nephew now and will be purchasing them one!!
In addition it has great multi functions that are sure to keep them entertained!!!

We've had this flashlight for two summers now and taken it on multiple camping trips. It's held up GREAT with two very young kids. We've had other brands that break easily, but this one hasn't. Jan 2011 update: We still have this flashlight, and have since purchased a second one so there's no sharing. The kids still love them.Customer Review: Great nightlight

It is a great flashlight that my son uses as a nightlight. He does forget to turn it off sometimes and goes through batteries fast but we got rechargable ones to use. He mainly uses the nightlight option. No more sleeping in our bed because he is scared of the dark.Customer Review: My son loves this!

I bought this for a camping trip recently. My 2 year old son loves this
flashlight, and can turn it on and off and switch modes by himself. I also love the night light feature. Overall a great purchase!

I bought this for my 4 year old son. He loved the flashing lights and figured out that one the buttons makes the light show follow different patterns. It is pretty bright and has held up well.
