In just a couple of hours the water was hot - if we left it in the sun all afternoon, it would have to be cooled down by adding more water before we could use it. My husband had a hard time filling it (we used lake water)but I would just swirl it around in the lake, holding the fill valve open, and had no problem getting it full. It did take a couple minutes of standing in the lake, though. I was very happy with the shower for the money I spent. I would like a nozzle that could be opened and closed with one hand. This nozzle required two hands to shut the water off. I loved being clean before I got into my tent at night. If you camp in a dusty area or hike and get grubby it's nice to clean up at night. I'm past the age that a dip in an ice cold stream is even entertained. With this unit the water warms up fine during a sunny day. The on off is practical and easy to use. It is a camping classic for a reason and worth the money. They can get holes if you are careless and set them on something sharp. Small punctures are easy to repair with tape.Customer Review: Ready for a hot shower

We have two of these and use them often. I fill it up, lay it on the picnic table and when we get back from a day of hiking and getting dirty we all have nice hot showers waiting.
the only problem is that the hose gets a kink in it and the valve is a bit cheesy, but to have a nice hot shower in the middle of nowhere is worth fighting the valve

I think these things work great!! i been using them for long time and they've always worked pretty decent. Best thing to do if you want it to last is to only fill 1/2 or 3/4 ways full. Usually i use it for cleaning dishes but when i want at decently warm shower ill warm the water over the fire and use a funnel to pour it in.Customer Review: Brilliant, and a conservative user of water, too!

Took it camping (Bonnaroo!). Filled it from the runoff from the coolers as the ice melted each day. Never needed more than 1/2 to 1 gallon to take as long a shower as I wanted. Even just suspended it from the side of my truck, when push came to shove, and knelt beneath it. A great product, at a good price!
