I bought this for camping. And as we were packing up and putting in the batteries (right before we left), we realized the lamp didn't work -- straight out of the box. It has a very nice feel to it, so it's a real bummer. Too late to return.Customer Review: tent lantern

the collapsible mechanism is too weak and it doesn't seem as bright as you'd expect. Buy something else.
