As many other reviewers have noted, this inflates low-pressure inflatable products rapidly. I use it with two air mattresses I own and it inflates them each in under a minute. It is, however, very loud - I prefer to use earplugs when operating it. I'd highly recommend a 120v unit like this over a rechargeable or battery powered model unless you absolutely need to inflate things away from power.Customer Review: Great Air Pump for an Air Mattress

We've used an air mattress as a guest bed, or extra guest bed, for many years, but our old tank vacuum cleaner that we used to inflate it died, and newer vacuums don't seem to offer that feature anymore. Voila! Here's a solution that inflates a full-size air mattress quickly and easily, cost only about $15, and easily stores without taking up much space. After reading earlier reviews, I was a little worried that this would be the loudest pump in the universe, but the price was right so I bought it anyhow. It turns out that it's no louder than a really vigorous hair dryer. I've heard much louder pumps. It works really well, actually. It pumps up my queen-sized air mattress in less than a minute. I bought this airbed and a Coleman air pump. They are very easy to use. I didn't expect a very comfortable performance of an airbed, but this bed turns out to be firm enough and very comfortable. I have had air pumps for blow up mattresses before, but have never been very impressed with the small amount of air that comes out, making it take FOREVER to blow up the mattress! This one is so fast; it completely inflated 2 twin size mattresses in about 30 seconds for each, & deflated them just as fast! I highly recommend this pump.
