Sports reviews of Cold Steel Steel Tiger SecureEx Sheath Kraton Handle

Customer Review: Decent for the price
Sport shop rating: 4 Stars

For the price it is sold at it is acceptable, but having used higher quality knives there is definitely some places where this knife falls short. The most noticeable thing is the handle is injection molded over the blade leaving mold lines and injection points (which are not factory finished either). Most knives in the price range such as Kershaw's have machined G10 which produces a better (and more solid) feel as well as a much more appealing and finished look. The blade profile makes it size relatively useless, Has a great point and the first 2 inches of cutting edge would be really effective but the thick spine (while probably necessary) makes a lot of the knife useless. The finish is nice, but there are some perfections I would never see on my Benchmade's, mostly some places where the wet stone finish is not in the same direction.

This next part is more design considerations. As a karambit this thing isn't all too useful, it is simply to large to keep concealed like you would a traditional karambit. Also this may work for some but the handle doesn't fit my hand very well.

Overall worth the money, but definitely places where improvements could be made.
