I ordered and received two of these lights and so far have been very pleased with them. They were packaged very well and provided everything needed to mount them to a weaver rail. One thing I did not realize is that the flashlights are just under 5 3/4 inches from the top to bottom. This could be a problem if you are mounting this in an area where there is not a lot of room. Additionally, the mount does not have a bar or anything running across the weaver mount to keep it from sliding. I think it shouldn't be a problem if you really tighten it down, but I had some extra and better mounts laying around that I decided to use.
On using the light, if you are using the back cap as the power switch, it toggles from steady to strobe to off. However, if you are using the supplied pressure switch, it alternates from solid to strobe so you could push it on solid, then store it away. Then, next time you push it, it will be on strobe. Overall they seem to be of good quality and I always remove my lights before shooting unless I am practicing in low light so I don't know how well they will hold up to shock and vibration.
Lastly, the light out of these things is perfect. There is no dark spot at all in the middle and the light has a little blue to it. Additionally, it is significantly brighter than my Streamlight TRL-1 LED light that I paid double for. At night, this will definitely cause temporary blindness and disorientation. So, if you can get over the size issue, they seem to be the perfect light for $50.

Lemme say I initially wasn't too enthusiastic about the "tactical strobe" function on this light. I mean, I need a light on my shotgun so I can see who I'm shooting at in the dark, not so I can zazz up a C & C Music Factory dance-off, thank you very much.
But I will be the first to say I was 100% wrong. It makes after-dark skeet shooting a lot more tactical and exciting and my nephew loves to goof around in the strobe light. He'll turn it on and start jumping on the bed. Man, I don't know if he's playing spaceman or what, but he goes bonkers! Of course my sister makes me take the light off the shotgun before he gets to play with it, but I think it's good for kids to get exposure to real, tactical gear from a young age.
If I ever do have to shoot somebody, god forbid, this light would probably make it look totally awesome, like a scene out of 300 or something. I almost want to buy the triple rail mount so I can put three of these on my shotgun. That way, it won't matter if I miss the bad guy, since he'll probably have a seizure from all those tactical strobes.

I purchased this light and received it 3 days later. The first thing i noticed was the tactical look to it and just how sleak it looks, especially on my Mossberg 535. One thing i've noticed many customers complain about is the light cycle from beam to strobe. This isn't however an issue. Once you turn it on and shut it off if you hit it again it will be strobe, UNLESS you wait 5 seconds before turning it back on (which realistically shouldn't be an issue) which once you do turn it back on it will be a solid beam again, it must have a timer or delay from beam to strobe. I love how it looks and feels on my shotgun and the overall comfort it gives me that if shtf or similar tactical situation since i am in law enforcement that this light will stand up to the test and may help me come out alive.Customer Review: Powerful, stunningly effective disorientation device

Besides being a spectacularly powerful little flashlight, this thing is a nighttime intruder's worst nightmare.
Imagine creeping into someone's home, intent on mischief, when you're met with a blinding blue-white strobing light. The strobe effect destroys your night vision and disorients you to the extent that you are momentarily immobilized.
On the other end of the light beam is an opponent who can see you with perfect clarity and can either shoot you or advance unseen and deliver incapacitating blows.
Every home should have one of these on a bedside table.

We have two 12 gauge 870 tactical shotguns as home defense weapons. I bought one of these and installed it on mine. I liked it so much I bought another and put it on my wife's gun.
My god they are bright, plus the strobe function is just crippling to look at in a dark room. The thing is very solid, all metal and the mount is really nice as well. I tightened them all down and added a little blue loctite and have no worries about them coming loose.
I would highly recommend these to anyone. I don't think you could beat it for twice the money.
