Description of Cho-Pat Dual Action Knee Strap - Black Medium 14-16"
Cho-Pat's newly patented Dual Action Knee Strap provides an extra dimension of relief for painful and weakened knees. The strap applies pressure upon the patellar tendon below the kneecap to stabilize and tighten up the kneecap mechanism, which improves patellar tracking and elevation and reduces patellar subluxation. It adds further strengthening to the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure on the tendon above the kneecap as well. This tends to reduce the forces of the quadriceps on the patella tendon and erosion of the undersurface of the kneecap due to a possible misalignment of the quadriceps (Q angle). The device's design and construction apply constant dynamic forces to the surrounding areas of the knee reducing the likelihood of overuse syndromes. At the same time, the strap allows for full mobility while providing maximum benefits. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS FROM WEARING THE CHO-PAT ACTION KNEE STRAP. MY KNEE HAS BEEN BECOMING DISLOCATED ON MY RIGHT KNEE FOR YEARS, BUT SUDDENLY IT WAS DISLOCATED AND AFTER AN HOUR OF WORKING TO GET UP FROM A SITTING POSITION MY KNEE WAS VERY SORE. I WORE MY OLD KNEE BRACE FOR A WEEK, BUT MY KNEE WAS STILL SWOLLEN AND ACHING.
I SAW A RUNNER WITH A STRAP KNEE BRACE ON AND I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT WORK. I WORE MY CHO-PAT ACTION KNEE BRACE FOR 2 WEEKS AND DID MY TREADMILL AND LEG LIFTS. MY KNEE HAS NOT FELT AS GOOD IN YEARS. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT ANYONE THAT NEED A LITTLE KNEW SUPPORT GET THIS PRODUCT.

because it stablizes your knee very good. If you have a floating knee cap try this one and see if it works for you
My left knee cap moves about when I'm running due to my patela tendon problems. My left quad above the knee cap gets tight after 30 or 40 mins of running. I usually have to stop and bend my knee a few times to relax my quad.
When I wear this product it does not get tight and when I take it off it still loose (quad). Its ok to run in, but to use it for a race...to me it's restrictive. I use the single bands and they help, but this product is better for more stability.

I found this product effective in stabilising my knee. It is quick to put on and construction quality is good. It washes easily and is reasonably comfortable to wear. I found that if I forgot to put it on, particularly for cycling, pain and instability in my knee soon recurred. I guess that if you had a really bad knee problem you might need something more technical but for me this is just fine and will help avoid knee surgery.Customer Review: Dual Cho-pat knee strap Helps

I Played too much Volleyball and developed Patella Tendonits also known as Jumpers Knee(runners knee). I have been using the single knee strap Daily but when I try to workout or get back on the court I have been using the Dual knee strap. You feel a big differnce when you have it on. I play squash and I needed a little more support than an normal knee brace provides. I saw this advertized in Outside Magazine and decided to give it a try. So far, it is working to help my knee.
