I've had chronic neck pain for over 4 years and I'm only 23 years old. I got massages and it never helped for very long, and I started seeing a chiropractor (adjustments also did not help). My X-rays showed my neck curve to be a straight line rather than a curve.
Finally my chiropractor showed me the Posture Pump and I bought it on a whim. When I got it home, I thought, "What in the world did I buy?!" but I decided to try it anyway. WOW. It essentially cured my neck pain after a few weeks of use. I no longer get adjustments and only get a massage every month or so to stay loose.
If you have the problem I had (a straightened neck curve), you need to at least try it. It could be the cure you've been waiting for.
It is expensive but it pays for itself quickly, and being pain-free after years of agony is priceless.

I started using this because I had tingling in my fingers from sleeping in odd positions on the couch and knew I was pinching something. The instructions for using for the 4100 are kinda counter-intuitive and at first I did it my way. WRONG. When I followed the inventor's instructions, I got the best results. (With the 4100, you start with the lower spine first, and work that area before you go to the neck.)
This is the number one way for someone who sits at a computer all day to take a break. and you will REALLY feel it. It makes you feel invigorated. Physically and mentally. Google for the manufacturer site and watch the video. The last thing I want to be is one of those little old people with no spinal curvature when I hit 80. This is the machine to get. Pricey? Yeah, but so is your back. And this machine has spinal safety beat.

The posture pump looks like a medieval torture device (and I'm pretty sure it could be designed MUCH more aesthetically and also smaller). I spend 10+ hours/day at a computer and consistently have neck strain/pain/fatigue. This was recommended by a chiropractor. Believe it or not, I could actually feel a difference after the first use--more ease of movement and stress relief. Other family members (all skeptics with neck issues) had the same results. We didn't even remove the weird chin strap (which helps keep your head in place so it's your neck that actually moves and not your head.) I highly recommend it in spite of how it looks. (We also tried the Elliptical Back Rocker from the same company and have been less enthusiastic--although we are still giving it a try.)Customer Review: Excellent product!

I have suffered from neck pain; upper back/shoulder pain and stiffness for over 25 years since a whiplash injury. My cervical spine has also lost the natural curve and has been starting to curve the other way. This has led to almost incapacitating headaches. I've had chronic neck problems for more than 30 years, and this is the first thing that has made a lasting and significant difference. I notice more blood flow to my head, and I feel clearer the whole day through. I sit, stand and walk more comfortably. I feel taller. My neck is improving noticably day by day.
