This Backpack/Hydration unit is an exceptional buy. Used it last week and the wide mouth filling hole is a welcome feature. There is enough room for a day hike's worth of equipment. Unit is top notch.

The redesigned Cloud Walker hydration/cargo pack is an affordable choice for hikers new to the concept of hands-free hydration. Loaded with such features as a front pocket organizer, a removable waist belt, and a bite valve cover, the pack not only offers 1,282 cubic inches of storage space, but also delivers enough hydration for two to three hours of hiking without breaks.

The Cloud Walker is built around a 2.1-liter Omega reservoir with an easily accessible drinking tube, so you can grab a quick sip whenever you're parched or need a water boost. At the same time, the main cargo pocket holds everything from a change of clothes to a picnic lunch to hiking and cross-country ski gear--a must for excursions longer than a mile or two. Safely securing your valuables isn't a concern thanks to the front pocket organizer, which holds such items as an iPod, cell phone, wallet, and other essentials. And perhaps most importantly, the removable waist belt adds stability while distributing the weight evenly across your hips, so you'll feel as fresh at the end of the hike as you did at the beginning.
