The spill proof bottle that makes it easy to stay hydrated on the go. The cap fits most other bottles and the Better Bottle attaches to most water filters and fits in most cup holders. It's dishwasher safe.
What is BPA?
Bisphenol-A is an ingredient used to make polycarbonate. In recent months, there has been increasing consumer demand for a bottle that is not made with Bisphenol-A (BPA), and CamelBak is proud to introduce BPA-free bottles with the same great properties customers have come to expect from polycarbonate: vibrant color, clarity, durability, dishwasher-safe, and with no residual taste. As of the end of April 2008, the entire CamelBak bottle line will be available in BPA-Free materials in North America.
What are phthalates?
Phthalates (pronounced thal-ates) are a component added to some plastics to make them soft and pliable. None of CamelBak's bottles have ever contained phthalates.
What is the BPA-free Better Bottle made from?
The CamelBak Better Bottle line is made from a new copolyester polymer called Tritan, made by Eastman. It offers the same great qualities that we have come to expect from polycarbonate bottles and is 100 percent BPA-Free. The Big Bite Valve is made of medical-grade silicone for long life and taste-free performance.

I bought this product a month ago. So far I'm quite satisfied with it's quality.
One thing I want to stress is the this bottle seems not working in hot water, say, boiling water. I see no changes in the inside of the bottle or any special smell, but if you keep some boiling water in the bottle for some days and didn't open it up, finally when you open it the odor is awful. I believe this is just not a hot water bottle.

I bought two of these water bottles 9 months ago. One for me (pink) and one for my husband(grey). I have to say I love it. So easy to clean, no hidden areas to collect bacteria. And keeps water with no leaks and no funny taste. Being BPA free was the main reason I purchased this bottle and the camelbak name. This bottle has been a great upgrade from my retired one which I used everyday for a few months. There are no weird tastes such as the ones I experienced with my old bottle, and the material is much stronger. The cap is excellent and does not leak at all. The handle makes carrying much easier. I love the Camelbak bottles they go everywhere with me and now I can stop getting harassed by everyone telling me they are un-safe. Everything these days seems to be a cause of cancer not sure if the plastic is and who knows in the future if this plastic will be good for us or not. But in the meantime, I have a rebuttal to everyone telling me it is bad for me.Customer Review: Great Product

This is one of the best water bottle i have purchase. It goes with me everywhere practically. I have 3 of them so far. I plan to get a few more sometime. I am a water drinker fan and this is great around my computers and near my bed so if i knock it over no spills no Dohh! moments. Even take it kayaking works great near the ocean.
