I just love these, my 5.5 uses them for school and 15 mos old uses them as sippy cups. jsut received them last week and they have been thru a lot of beating with my 15 mos old. he drops them and throws them around, no scratches, or any other problems. I am just scared to keep removing the straw part as i am worried it might stretch or break, though it does not look weak, we use them every day so i just rinse them in hot water & soap every day and on the weekends i take them apart and put them in the dishwaser. initially i was worried that my 15mos old would not know how to bite and drink but he figured it out within 3 mins. I got the red one and blue one, love them both. if your kids can figure out the straw they are great. reason i was looking for something like this is my 15mos old would tip his sippy cups over and let them drip then play with the liquid on the floor or wherever and my 5.5 yr old would take bottles to school and leave them open, so by the time he got him, his school bag and everything in it would be wet. this, even when open is 100% leak proof. LOVE IT!!!
