I got back recently into table tennis, and my old racket was just not good enough for me to improve. So i did some research and this racket was fitting the bill. Three month later, i am very happy with the quality i got for the price. I might have to upgrade it at some point to a faster rubber (customized racket), but it has excellent control and fast enough to keep up with some high level players. For pre made racket, it is excellent, so unless you are a pro, this racket should fit the bill.
UPdate: After playing it for about 8 month, here is what i think. Its good to start out, has a good control, decent spin, it is slow compared to some custom made rackets. As i got better i started noticing some minuses. One, it just too slow against good players, you wont be slaming much past good player. Two, its slow. I am offensive player and when my attacks are not getting through because ball is too slow. Some very high rated guys mentioned that its slow and i should think of upgrading paddle. Which i did today, got custom racket.
That said, its very good for someone who is good, but not tournament level. Great control, infact, its control is much better then its speed. I can aim on spot on the table, and usual hit it spot on. Spin is ok. Not amazing.

First off this paddle is delivered in a box just telling everyone because that one review saying it didn't come in one. Well me and my friend wanted to step our game up from these really bad rubber paddles we got at dick's sporting goods so we looked online and thought the senshu would be great for us. When we got it on my front porch and opened it we were so excited. The rubber is very tacky and lint and dust easily gets caught on it so make sure to wipe it down with a damp sponge but not too damp. Get this paddle if you feel like you need much more spin on your serves or top spin drives. Be ready though because this thing is so hard to control at first. When me and my friend were serving it to each other the spin was magnified. If it was a side spin it would shoot across after hitting the paddle but we got use to the spin and learned soon how to counter it in a hour or too. So buy this paddle if you're wanting to improve your control very much~ Love this paddle
Customer Review: Very Good For Pro-sumer Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
Well I'm not a pro but I play very good table tennis. Spin, drive, defense, counter-offense and more. I can tell honestly that this racket is the right fit for those who are coming to pro level. With the price and its built according to its purpose, this is a good deal. When you turn pro, you buy those world-class series of butterfly products. But if you are not a pro but knows how to play ping pong very well. I mean really really well, basically you know what you are doing with the spin and drive and the effect of all these, then this is the racket for you.
Spin is very good. Drive will kill your opponent. Control you have to get used to racket before you can have a good control.
Overall, this is a good product.
Customer Review: Best racket for myself Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I was recently borrowing a friend's Kenji racket, I loved it but I was still kinda off on my smashes. I tried to get the Kenji on Amazon but it was sold out. But after reviewing other paddles I think with the stats on the Senshu it would be good for me and I was totally right. I had it for 3 days and it took me a day to adjust. It is heavier than the Kenji. 90% of my smashes are landing now and I haven't lost yet out of 40 games. The people I played against usually win 50/50 of the games we play, but now, they are trying real hard to win. Oh, the control on this paddle is really hard but its coming. some of the games I allow people to smash so I can practice control. But overall I'm on top of my game with this paddle. I love it.
Customer Review: A great Improvement Sport shop rating: 5 Stars
I played a lot from ages 10-14 and hadn't really played since. I recently started again at age 41 with terrible knees. After a few weeks I knew I needed to upgrade my paddle. This thing is greatness - but not recommended for an absolute beginner. It will make you work for control but elevate the spin and power game to a new level. Highly recommended and worth every penny. Be sure to wipe down the delightfully tacky Flextra rubber with water if/when it gets dirty or dusty.
