The Velocity Speed Gun is an easy point-and-shoot speed gun. It boasts +/- 1.0 MPH accuracy. The Velocity can track the speed of a ball from 100 feet. I am extremely satisfied with this product. It was recommended that I get a significantly more expensive device than this one for the purpose I wanted to use it for. I saved myself a great deal of expense as the product works perfectly for the function that I purchased it for. Works great on baseballs & softballs. I used the digital speedometer in my car as a test of the gun's accuracy. The gun and my car always agreed to within 1 MPH. The case appears to be very durable - the front end of the gun is rubber armored. I am perfectly satisfied.
Be sure to read the instructions to avoid erroneous readings.

We've been using this to measure the speed of tennis balls and it works very well for this purpose. Low speed (less than 15 MPH) seems to be less accurate than the higher speeds.
We have experienced no problems with the device although we've only been using it for a few days. It's very easy to use.

I bought this gun for seeing how fast my son goes on his dirt bike, and seems to be very accurate. I also tested the speed on cars, and also seems accurate. For the great price it works fine . I do recommend it. You will be pleased with it. No battery problems.Customer Review: Good Buy

I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this item. Overall, I'm pleased with the speed gun. It's easy to use and seems accurate. Our pitching coach used his own, much more expensive gun when measuring my son's velocity, and it was +/- 1 mph. I highly recommend.
