This product was great for my purposes. I drive to work and see so many birds yet I can't always be sure I identify them correctly. This pair of binoculars suited me perfectly because they're portable so I can carry them easily in my car and whip them out to affirm or change my identification. They don't work well for serious birding, and I would definitely recommend a different pair for that, but as a portable "help-mate" they work awesome!Customer Review: Good value, low price

I made this purchase specifically because I wanted a pair of binoculars that I could carry in my purse or pocket. I have an expensive pair that are too cumbersome to take everywhere, and I rarely need binoculars for distance.
The Bushnell Powerviews are perfect for local birding and a quick check on the wave heights on the gulf from my porch.
Can you beat the price? I doubt it.

Ok, what can you expect for $15...not much I think. So I was very surprised when these binoculars were clear and were well constructed. I wanted a small pair to throw in my backpack with magnification in this range and didn't want to spend a lot since I wouldn't use them too much. These fill the bill just fine. And I could focus down to about 10 feet which was more than I expected also. I purchased these binoculars specifically for use in theatres for live performances and they worked perfectly. Even though I was seated in the second tier of the theatre, I could bring everything in very clearly. They also are very good for outsight viewing. I perform Quality Assurance checks for a Cable TV contractor, and these are perfect for looking up at telephone poles all day, making sure everything is correct. Well-built, they hold up well to folding, unfolding, putting them into my pocket, etc. Image is good, I just wish I could find a pair that didn't require me taking off my glasses. I know how it's supposed to work, it just never does.
