These binoculars perform very well during daytime and are good for the occasional birdwatcher or for viewing any outdoor event. The light weight and the insta-focus make them very easy to use. I bought them for stargazing (very tight budget!) and I am very satisfied with them giving what I paid. I have been able to locate and clearly see many Messier objects (ie. M22, M13, M11, M3, M5 and the great Andromeda Galaxy M31, and many star clusters such as M39 and the coathanger) and double stars with the Falcons, and they give a nice view of the summer milky way although the view is not very bright since the Falcons are not multicoated, but for [money] you really cant ask much. Overall, excellent value. Buy the Falcons and Terence Dickinsons Nightwatch (Turn Left at Orion is another good one) and you can get into backyard astronomy ...Customer Review: WOW, excellent well worth the money

I originally bought a chaep binoculars at at neigbourhood store just for fun, after playing around with it and looking at neighbours and occasionally the night sky , i decided this might be an interesting hobby so decided to look around for a better model, came on amazon and read the reviews for the falcon 10x20 binoculars, and ordered it, boy was i pleasantly surprised, what a difference compared to the cheap one i had before, images are crisp and clear and the focus lever is very smooth and easy to operate, well worth the money. i now spend time looking at the night sky and this does a good job of viewing stars and stuff on a clear night.Customer Review: Angie's review for Bushnell binocs

I purchased these binocs for stargazing and watching all of the amazing wildlife here in the Ozarks and I am extremely pleased with the high quality. My order arrived promptly, which, I might add was shipped free of charge. The InstaFocus is great and simple to use. I had a pair of old 10x50 binoculars that were okay but not near as lightweight and easy to take along as these, eventually they got dropped and were out of balance so I wanted to replace them and shopped a lot of places before finding these. I reviewed these as a real A+ when they arrived early May, but within weeks, the diopter focusing lense on the right eyepiece failed for no reason. Now you can't adjust it to focus, so that eyepiece is useless. The manual talks about the diopter being subject to failure if abused, etc, I never abused it; one day it worked, the next it did not. Not worth the freight and wait to return for warranty repair if they'd even warranty it. I disassembled it, see tiny screws, etc but don't understand what failed, so I give up, am buying a better pair to replace and hope this is not typical of Bushnell quality!Customer Review: Unbelievable quality for the price!

I had read some of the other reviews for these binoculars and figured I couldn't go wrong for the low price. I was right. I use these primarily for birdwatching and they are perfect for that. They are very lightweight and the focusing lever makes for fast, easy focusing. They work smoothly and have the look and feel of quality. The rubberized finish makes them easy to hold securely. Optically they are spot on. I have done a little stargazing with them and wasn't disappointed in the least. Nice bright clear images of the moon and open star clusters. I really couldn't be more satisfied.
