I went to a few outfitter type store to look at monoculars and this one stood out as the best combination of magnification, field of view, and brightness. The monocular was very inexpensive, and the size and weight let it fit in my pocket very easily. I don't even feel it in my pocket. I take it just about everywhere - on the beach, ferry, boat, etc.
It is not a serious optical instrument, just a lot of fun for the money.

this little gem is incredible for what you get for such a low price. Well, have on con, needed stay still to use it, and this is a little difficult to do, besides that, it's great monocular.
