The next generation of Solaris¿ foldable technology is here. CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) is the most efficient thin film solar technology available. The Solaris 6 and 12 are the most compact models in our line. This unit offers reverse flow protection, multi section folding panels for ease of storage and use, complete with folding storage sack, Vehicle outlet cable, multi-linking cable and battery clamp cable. The unit's multi-section design folds up into a tiny footprint that's around the size of a DVD case, while still delivering a solid 6 watts of power--enough to charge a digital video or still camera or power a cell phone. To increase the power output, simply buy up to two additional Solaris panels and link them together. Plus, the unit's high-performance CIGS solar cells are reliable and efficient, with a design that instinctively converts incident sunlight into an electrical current, even in low-light conditions. The combined functions make this an ideal panel for camping trips, hikes, and other occasions when it helps to have a portable power source on hand.
