The Bowflex SelectTech 552 dumbbells are perhaps the greatest investment I've made. You just can't ask for a better package. The quality, conveniance, ease of use, and space saving technology are worth every penny. It's built solidly so you won't have to worry about falling plates, only 2 dumbells replace an entire rack, "simply DIAL IT UP", and your ready for a great and effective workout! I recently purchased these dumbells taking advantage of the free shipping offer. They are very convenient to have around. I set them up on an end table in my living room. I find that I work out more because I can just walk over to the dumbells, pick them up, and start doing some reps. For me, this is worth every penny.
Changing the weight is a breeze. They have a solid feel when lifting. Definitely doesn't feel like the plates will fall off when lifting with them.

I tried a couple different brands of selectable dumbbells at the local Sports Store and these were by far the best. I'm very pleased with the purchase. A few people have complained about their size being too big, but I haven't had a problem. And I'm not a big guy. Relatively short compared to most guys I know. So I figured they would be even more a problem for me. But I haven't noticed a difference between working out with these and working out with dumbbells at the gym.Customer Review: One of the best inventions ever!

Nautilus/Bowflex has a phenomenal winner here. I cannot say enough about this space saving yet highly versatile set of dumbbells. They may be pricey, but this product is manufactured with high quality materials and they embody a very efficient use of an amazing technology that is second to none. These are some of the nicest pieces of equipment I've used in a while. Really easy to change the weight, and at intervals of 2.5#'s up to 25#, these are really versitle and take up almost no space.
I did buy the stand to go along with these and I should add that the instructions for assembly on that thing is terrible.
The dumbells are great though. Nice addition, and with an adjustable flat-bench, very versitle!
