I needed a Pilates mini-ball type ball to use with a new workout I had just purchased (Tracey Mallett-Pilates Super Sculpt), and after researching various products on Amazon, I chose this one because it was one of the cheapest AND it came with a pump. The pump is a simple plastic hand pump--I could have used my bicycle pump, but this is simpler and easier, and blowing up the ball took me less than a minute. For Pilates, you want the ball to have a little "give," not be super-stiff, so this ball is perfect. I have used it several times already, and it works great, whether I have it gripped between my knees or ankles, placed under my lower back, or rolling in and out under my hands. If you are looking for a ball to use with workouts, I would definitely recommend this one.
