With the powerful and versatile Quadrant up front and the exceptionally bright Mars 3.0 in the rear, the Quadrant Mars 3.0 pack provides long run times and ample illumination for commuting and errands.An essential measure for any safety-conscious biker, the Blackburn Quadrant and Mars 3.0 Combo Bicycle Lights will help make sure you see the road and drivers see you. This combination of lights includes one Blackburn Quadrant light and one Blackburn Mars 3.0 light. The Quadrant is constructed in a tough, water-resistant case and utilizes four super-bright white LEDs. This bicycle light features optically-boosted center LEDs that light up what is ahead, and wide angle side LEDs with side-light pipes that provide 180-degrees of visibility. Blackburn's Quadrant light runs on four AA batteries (included) for 110 hours in steady mode, or 300 hours in flash mode.
The Mars 3.0 is constructed in a tough, water-resistant case and utilizes seven super-bright red LEDs. This rear bicycle light features lens optics that increase its visible distance, and side LEDs that provide 180-degree safety-boosting visibility. Blackburn's Mars 3.0 runs on two AAA batteries (included) for up to 50 hours in steady mode, or 150 hours in flash mode.

I originally purchased these lights for my bike. Now I find that I use them for just about everything. The brightness is incredbile on both the front and back lights. The multiple settings are great for different occasions. As a pilot I use the red light when I wish to not be blinded by a white light at night. I can easily see the dogs as I track them down in yard at night. These lights are fantastic. Oh and they do work great on my bike as well. I playaed the part of "fudgie" up at Mackinac Island. I bought this light set about a month ago and am well pleased. The lights are bright and battery life is good. I haven't yet replaced the batteries and I use the lights about 15 minutes each day. The only problem I've had is the front light is loose on the handle bar and wants to turn up. This should be easy to fix with a rubber strip.
I passed a police officer (he was stopped) this morning and when I saw him later, he said he could see my light good all the way to the top of the hill. He said it would be hard not to see it.

Upon doing my homework I decided on ordering this product. The reviews were good, the description fit my needs so I ordered it. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Battery installation for the front light was a breeze, the rear light after unscrewing takes a little bit of a fingernail prying to open but still easy. Mounting brackets installed easily and the lights slid on. Read directions. From opening box to riding with lights on, 5 minutes. The lights are fantastic! These lights both do the job. I especially like the rear flasher (Mars 3.0). This thing's so bright and attention grabbing that I often use it in the daylight (immortal battery life makes this a no-brainer). Only complaint is with the front light (quadrant) because after putting in the four AA batteries it's heft becomes apparent. Considering that I have this on a road bike it is slightly unwieldy. But it is bright. And both are a breeze to attach/detach so when you don't need it, you don't need to wield it.Customer Review: Great Lights, Great Deal!

Bought two of these for my wife and myself. They are very bright and easy to install. The batterys are no problem to put in, all you need is a jewelers screwdriver for the rear light.(Go buy one of those kits they sell for glasses, less then 2 bucks). The rear light is very bright as well as the front one, although the front one is really only good as a warning light not a headlight. This is a good set for someone who rides around the neighborhood that has some street lights. Good for the casual rider.
