Customer Review: Works w/ thin metal eyeglass frames, but backpacks obscure vision

I was apprehensive about buying this without knowing whether it'd work on thin metal eyeglass frames, since it seems that most everyone else was using these on sunglasses. Well, it does work, and the part of the mirror that holds onto your eyeglass frame can be adjusted for the width of the frame to which it mounts.
A bookbag on my back obscures vision for the most part on my road bike, even when my hands are on on top of handlebars.
That's my contribution. I like what everyone else likes about this mirror, so no need to repeat.

This mirror is great! It is easy to attach to glasses and is very durable. As it is somewhat larger than other mirrors it provides a very good field of view. It was very easy to get used to and now I wouldn't ride in traffic without it. One turn of the head and I can scan everything behind me - much more confidently than turning my head.
The mirror is VERY durable. It fell out of my pocket while attached to sunglasses and was run over by a car. The glasses were ruined and the mirror was unscathed and I'm using it a year later.

This product is well-made, easier to use, and a "have to" for a bicycler. This is my third one purchased. Why am I purchasing more than one? I keep losing them. The device is small and easy to lose track of if one is not super careful. My last one has a larger mirror and a shorter shank which extends out from the front of ones eye glasses. I think I prefer this one to the old longer shank, but this a just a personal preference. I have been using Bike Peddler side mirrors for years. It attaches very neatly to the stem of ones sunglasses and is very adjustable for good visability. It beats the heck out of the (semi)permanent stick on mirrors that attach to ones helmet or the ever giggling ones that attach to ones handle bars! We share the road with car drivers that are not always careful or polite. Using this mirror allows me to watch their approach and find and out if I need it; I won't leave home with out mine! I've been using the mirror for a few weeks, and I really like it.
It was easy to adjust, and doesn't seem to require much tweaking. I use it on my regular glasses that have relatively thin bows, but I think that it could be adapted to a thicker plastic bow just as easily (the metal can be bent to the desired shape without fear of breaking).
The mirror itself gives a fairly large field of view, and I think the metal construction will be more durable than the other mirrors I've used in the past.
