I have used other mirrors made of plastic and have broken all of them. The Take-A-Look mirror is made of strong metal tubing and wire. It is simple but very good design. I think it would be very difficult to break. Once adjusted, it offers the best view of the road behind of any mirror that I have seen on the market. There is an adjustment period as you get used to using it. But once you do, you will wonder how you lived without it. I am so confident with the view behind that it gives me that I rarely look back when I need to maneuver over to the left. Not everyone likes a mirror that attaches to your glasses, but if you really want to now what is behind you, it is is the best choice.Customer Review: Perfect mirror

I was originally thinking that I didn't want a mirror that attached to my glasses and would rather have one that attached to my helmet. However, after purchasing a helmet mirror and not being able to attach it well to my Giro bike helmet, I decided to go with this model. Wow, it is perfect. It is well constructed and provides great visibility when attached to my glasses. I have put it both on my sun glasses and once on my regular glasses that are the half frame wire type. Both fit nicely with no issues.
If you are looking for a mirror option and don't want to have one on the handle bars, this is the option for you!

I have tried other bicycle mirrors previously, but could never get the mirror quite where I wanted it. And in trying to position it on my sunglasses, I broke the mount on the last one I owned.
The take a look was highly recommended on the bike forums so I tried it and love it. The image in the mirror is crisp and sharp. The mirror and mount are extremely flexible in that the mirror can be tilted side-to-side and up and down. You can also position the mirror farther from your eyes than other mirrors I've tried - which seems less distracting.
This purchase was a gift for a fellow biker, who loves it as much as I do!

After reading all the reviews I decided to give this little mirror a try, though I was dubious that it would stay put and that I'd be able to see much. I bought some inexpensive sunglasses with broad plastic earpieces (the ones I had were wire) to see how it would work. After hours of mountain bike riding on bumpy gravel roads and in a rocky dry stream bed, the mirror hadn't worked loose from the glasses and it hadn't come out of adjustment. The image is crystal-clear, not distorted, and I can see the full width of the road behind me without turning my head. It's a keeper!Customer Review: THE best bicyle mirror out there

I've used handlebar mirrors and helmet mirrors, but this one is the best. You can position it so you look up, move your head, or simply glance left to see behind you. The view is wide, stable and very clear. My only complaint is that it won't fasten to wire-rimmed glasses. Mostly I wear sunglasses when I bike, but on the rare occasion where I don't put in my contact lenses, I wear my wire rimmed glasses, and you can't fasten this to them. I got a helmet adapter which I haven't used yet, but perhaps this will make it possible to use this when wearing my glasses.
