This is a great game to play with friends and family who enjoy something a little more complex than Hearts. There is bidding and trick-taking. However, there is not the need for complicated scoring like one finds in Bridge. The deck can be adjusted for 2 to 6 players. This means that it is great for both small and large gatherings.
By the way, the printing is nice and clear for those of us with poor eye-sight. And, if you've never seen a 14 of diamonds,it's pretty cool. The quality is what you'd expect from Bicycle.
It is my sincere hope that this game sees a resurgence because it is fun and still complicated enough to keep one's interest. Buy it. Play it. Spread It!
Description of Bicycle Six Handed 500 Card Deck
This custom designed Five Hundred card deck provides for a full six hands to play this great social game. Similar to euchre, it was one of the most popular American card games in the early 20th century, and is now the national card game of Australia. This sturdy U.S. Playing Card Company deck is expanded with a joker, 11-spot and 12-spot cards in all suits, and 13s in the red suits to make a 63-card deck.
