i bought this unit a couple days ago to replace the bell wired computer (which worked great, but i crashed my bike and the computer broke) at walmart and searched for its reviews when i got home. after reading all the horrible reviews i thought i bought a piece a junk and was gonna return it but i hate customer service at walmart so i decided to give this wireless computer a chance. installed it in 10 minutes and tested it yesterday. works surprisingly well! everything worked like its supposed to. im not sure why others are having trouble. i ride a gary fisher XL mtb, 21.5" frame. im guessing people are installing the magnet sensor pretty far away from the front wheel magnet. i have my sensor installed at an angle pointing inside towards the front wheel instead of parallel with the bike. there is about a 2mm gap between the sensor and magnet.
