The Cocoon will carry your 40-pound-or-less child in safety, comfort and style, as it features a thick seat pad, high back for added protection, a five-point harness, molded spoke guard, and adjustable foot rests (which also allows the seat to grow with your child). I researched a trailer and bike child carrier before making my decision.
I decided on a bike carrier since I preferred knowing if things were kicked up while riding they hit ME and not the trailer .. but it's a personal decision.
I'm happy with the Bell carrier. It's sturdy and not TERRIBLE to assemble (I have a 14.5" aluminum frame and it took a bit of convincing but it wasn't bad). I've had it out once and my son loved it .. so much that he fell asleep on it.
I'm definitely happy with my decision, and the Bell Cocoon gives a snug and safe ride for my son.

I'd like to thank Amazon for the great service. Originally The product was promised to be delivered in 6-8 weeks time.
I then recieved an email telling me that it shipped about 4 weeks earlier than expected! When I recieved the product it was in exellent condition
and with the easy-to-use instructions, I had it mounted on my bike in about 1/2 an hour.My son is enjoying riding around and seeing everything
from the Bell carrier. Thanks Amazon!

Looking for a child carrier for my children, I came across this one. Bought it and loved it. Solid construction and easy to assemble. Even comes with the bike rack that the seat sits on. Other brands you have to buy it seperatelt. You will read reviews about how there are better ones to buy......but in this case (for the money) this is the best one you can buy. INSTALLATION TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED BUT ONLY BECAUSE THIS CARRIER IS REALLY ATTACHED TO THE BIKE WELL AND WON'T FALL OFF IF INSTALLED RIGHT! 18 MONTH OLD REALLY LIKED HIS FIRST RIDE. BE WATCHFUL THOUGH, WHEN HE FELL ASLEEP AND HIS HEAD WENT DOWN, THE HELMET STRAP SEEMED TO BE TIGHT ON HIS THROAT-COULD BE CHOKING HIM. MY DAUGHTER IS 20 MONTHS OLD AND I HAVE THE 2 SEATER TOW BEHIND FOR THE BIKE. I WANTED SOMETHING EASIER TO GET OUT OF THE GARAGE AND THIS IS IT!!! I THINK IT SHIELDS YOU CHILD MORE THAN THE OTHER ONES AND MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT!!! I DIDN'T FIND IT ON THE WALMART WEBSITE BUT WHEN I WENT TO A LOCAL WALMART THEY HAD ONE IN STOCK. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
