My slimmer belt was not blue(as pictured!,) but a cool tan-ish color. This is why I didn't give it five stars.
I loved it, but it didn't cover my lower tummy AND the top of my hips as I hoped it would. I removed extra outer zipper (with a handy $2 seam-ripper) and then(quickly& crudly)safety-pinned the zipper to be farthest "notch" in to get it just a bit tighter. I also did it at a bit of an angle in order to make it snug around my tummy and snug around my hips at the same time (in other words, to make it flare into more of a cone-shape instead of the nearly cylandar-shape it came as.
This may sound complicated, but it was really easy. It definitly took less than five minutes.
NOW IT'S PERFECT!
It's very durable and it WILL make you sweat...alot...

While I ordered this product based on the reviews here and a personal friend of a friend that had great results. I have to tell you.. so far I'm impressed. It doesn't take much in the way of activity to feel the sweat. I only wore for about 2 hours, before I moved it from the first zipper to the second, which really seems to have made the difference. Even simple yard works, or vehicle maintenance seems to increase the calroic burn. I can't wait more time to pass so I can see a real difference. The back support is also nice. I wore it while mowing the lawn and my back wasn't killing me as it usually would'be been. So far, I'm impressed but look forward to posting in a month or so with real results.Customer Review: Good but not Excellent!!!!!

I delivered recently and ordered this belt to loose the flab n put off inches from my waist area. I agree i got this belt a little late (4 months after i delivered) but hoped it will help me too as it claimed to help others. I had the following issues with this belt:
1) There was a tear near one of the zips in just 2 day's time after I bought and started using it.
2) Its bulky enough to be seen from outside if u wear it under your clothes, hence u can wear it only when at home.
I was a little disappointed as I did not get the desired results. U do sweat a lot when u wear it and exercise. To conclude, dont have very high expectations like me and u will not be disappointed.

I bought this after a suggestion from a friend of mine. I've tried others before and this is way superior than those. Other waist bands I've tried literally had no use...it was like wrapping a scarf around your waste and not tying it up. Because this item includes zippers, it makes for a firm fit. The zippers are placed so that if you have to adjust the waste band, you can make it tighter or more lose. The only negative I have is that I wish it was slighly longer. The reason being is that it tends to ride up from the bottom after prolonged use. This wasn't an issue when I initially purchased it, but started after about a week or so of wear.
