I read others reviews before I made my decision to try the "Back Magic."
Actually, I saw an ad for a similar device in a national catalogue but, couldn't believe such a simple device was $ 90.00.
A simple Google search lead me to Amazon and an array of similar devices for MUCH less money.
Having had convulsions due to lower back pain and a sciatic problem where I had to have epidurals too eliminate the problem. Very expensive.
I practice a lot of preventive pain therapy.
Anyhow, the "Back Magic" came and I tried it out.
It works as described. You have to learn to adjust the device and you must use a pillow under your head.
It travels with me when I go out of town and I am thankful not to wake up with lower back pain to start my day.

This product works wonders! I first purchased one when I was sellling Avon. I used it so much that it broke after two years. I was distraught until I searched on Amazon and they had it! I immediately ordered one and now my life is complete again. I had back surgery in October 2007 but the pain in my lower back muscles is still there!!!! After a long day at work, I lie on the Back Magic and it stretches the pain out of the nooks and crannies so that I can sleep better at night. My husband even uses it but he places a pillow over it. I like the firmness and use it just like it is. I use to use it in the highest stretching position but I decreased it back down to the middle position for more comfortability. I bought mine from a shopping channel that sells out of them every time they are offered. It is demonstrated by a pilates instructor. I had been suffering from a low back strain and had carpel tunnel symptoms. Both were significantly relieved by regular use of this product. In fact, when I stopped for a week or so, my carpel tunnel symptoms started to return. After using it for a few months, I get compliments on my posture that never happened before. I also can feel significant softening in my chronically overworked neck/shoulder muscles as my head is now balanced on top of my spine, not way out in front of my body. Even after 6 months, I am still only on the first level and feel no great need to adjust to the second position. Great product, fabulous price!Customer Review: excellent product at half the cost!

I was all prepared to buy a back stretching device from Brookstone for $90 when I thought about checking out amazon.com at the last minute and low & behold I found this one for along with shipping & handling for about $30 and I couldn't be more pleased, I am 5"8 and 160 and in very good athletic shape (47 yrs old) I hurt my lower back working at McDonald's as a teenager & have been dealing with it since, this is better than any exercise I have tried, and all the back things I have tried in my car... The true test will come in a few weeks when I take my son to college, it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive & I will find out if this is the real deal as I will try it in the car.... I am a dental hygienist who has been having back problems for several years. I have seen physical therapists, massage therapists, and chiropractors. I have stretched and exercised and taken medications but the Back Magic has really helped me and it is so easy to do. It helps me to relax when I get home from work to lie back on this product, even though at times it hurts at first, and if I am relaxed I seem to have more energy. I can feel the stretch and then the movement of the muscles as they relax, the results, less pain for me! I am sleeping better and my massage therapist has noticed that I am not as tight and I have fewer trigger points. I highly recommend this product as an adjunct to medical care.
