My wife and I each rented a pair of Atlas 10's for our first snowshoe experience. We cut a trail traversing a slope through two feet of fresh powder to the base of Mount Rose in the Sierra's. The snowshoes worked great. Easy on and easy off. Very easy to tighten halfway through. We were able to maintain our stability on soft fresh powder on moderately steep slopes. I only gave them four stars because I have nothing else to compare them to. I would definitely rent them again.
