Sports reviews of Arched Back Lumbar Stretcher Extender, Model# 83-4866VCustomer Review: great for stretching low back Sport shop rating: 5 StarsThis is a great tool for those that feel they are hunched forward all day and need to take their back and spine in the other direction. I am a massage therapist and after working over people all day I use this at home.
Customer Review: Ahhhh Sport shop rating: 5 StarsI am pleased and surprised that such a simple, inexpensive object could actually deliver. Every time I use this, I can feel the vertebrae popping back in line. I have had much less low back pain and sciatic nerve pain since I bought this. Nothing beats an hour long massage and a chiropractic adjustment, but a hot bath and a few minutes on the back stretcher is a great alternative and is very budget-friendly.
Customer Review: DON'T BUY Sport shop rating: 1 StarsI've two ruptured disks, bulged disks, etc, it looked like I could make good use of this item. I went to my chiropractor and he told me NO, that this would only hurt my back even more, so if I were you I would consult with a physician first, but my personal opinion is don't buy it.
Customer Review: Not made for short people Sport shop rating: 1 StarsI can get a better stretch on my exercise ball. This thing is just WAY to uncomfortable. I requested a return authorization, but the seller says, "Please be advised that this item can only be returned to us if the manufacturer's package has not been opened. There will be a 10% restocking fee, and the shipping charges will not be refunded." How are you supposed to try it without opening it?? So I guess I'll be trying to sell my used-for-2-minutes one on amazon.
Customer Review: didn't hurt, but didn't help either Sport shop rating: 2 StarsI'm glad it was inexpensive because it didn't really do much of anything for me. It's not uncomfortable, plenty of padding takes care of that, and I have to admit I did relax while laying on it for 15 minutes waiting for something to happen. It's easier to use than my inversion table, but not nearly as effective.
