But watch it if you have arthritis in hips/knees. I have hip & knee arthritis in the same leg. Put these on, then I walked 20x around a above ground pool (about a 28' length pool, 4.5' deep).

For comparison, I am not an Ironman triathlete, but could ride a mtn bike 3 miles on flat ground in 23 minutes.

However, I was very sore from arthritis after using these fins in the pool, so much so, I needed a walking stick to walk, until the pain subsided in 1/2 hr.

Be careful! I think I am going to cut these fins down to a smaller length, my arthritis could not take it.

The Aquafins Aquatic Exercise Kit will introduce you to a whole new way to work out in the water. The force produced by the Aquafins is dependent on several variables. The amount of drag determines the force. The more surface area of the fins in contact with the water, the more resistance. Therefore, changing the orientation of the fins will change the drag. Faster motions underwater also produce more force.
