This is a great value for the money. My son at 9 has found great interest in skateboarding. We had bought him a toy store skateboard a few years ago, but it was poorly made. He loves this skateboard and gives it a real workout every day! It is a little smaller than most skateboards which makes it easier for him to do tricks which he likes. He used to want to use his friend's skateboard, but now his friend is always wanting to use his! So, unless you are really picky, this is a great quality skateboard, especially for a beginner skateboarder.
