Description of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band TrampolineLots of jumping fun for one! Mini, 38" trampoline features tension bands, a durable powder-coated steel frame and a sturdy polypropylene surface. Measures 38" in diameter x 13" high. Bounce your way to fitness and fun on this durable, springless mini-trampoline. Using super-strong elasticized bands of webbing instead of potentially dangerous metal springs, this tramp provides a high intensity, low impact workout as well as a great indoor activity for rowdy kids. Standing at about 9 inches high by 38 inches round (slightly larger than conventional 36-inch jogger trampolines) it features a durable polypropylene jumping mat; a sewn-on, thickly padded stretch-band cover for its no-pinch springs; large rubber feet for stability; and a rust-resistant frame. This tramp is also completely collapsible for convenience and easy storage--always a welcome feature. Although the larger springless trampolines have been criticized for not being as bouncy as conventional metal-spring ones, safety is perhaps a greater consideration for a mini-trampoline such as this that will be used indoors. --Deb Oroszlan
Sports reviews of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band TrampolineCustomer Review: Happy with purchase Sport shop rating: 5 StarsI am so pleased with this purchase. My 5 year old grandson loves it and it is just the right size for him to use. It is low to the floor so if he falls, he won't hurt himself and the size is great as he can use it indoors or out. It was very easy to assemble and we did it immediately upon him opening it so he could use it right away.
Customer Review: Great Product and Value Sport shop rating: 5 StarsI use this minitrampoline for cardio exercise (jogging in place) when the outside temperature, or my knees, tell me not to run.
This is my second mini-trampoline. The first one used springs instead of the elastic bands. The spring design sucked. I trained for a marathon and put many hours on it. I decided it was unsafe to use after the 4th spring broke (from fatigue or friction - probably a combination of both). I bought replacement springs and discovered one needs a special tool or superhuman strength to put them on.
That's when I discovered the design was changed to incorporate bands, replacing the springs. Much better. I happily purchased the newly designed unit for which this review is written. I have put many many hours on this new "band" unit and so far no problems.
Customer Review: Safe for active child Sport shop rating: 5 StarsI bought this product because it has no springs and great padding for my active daughter. She bounces on it for hours! It wasn't as hard to put together as I thought. The book suggested 3 people, we did it in 10 minutes total with 2 people.
Customer Review: wobbly Sport shop rating: 3 StarsI bought this for my 2 year old son. When it arrived I put it together myself. I could have probably waited and got some help. Is very hard to put together. I ordered it because it didn't have springs. I would NEVER disassemble to store. Way to hard to put together and it looked even worse to take apart. Every time I lay it flat for him to jump on I have to get on it to flatten it, and it still seems a little wobbly and uneven. Maybe I put it together wrong!! Otherwise it is great. Has a nice spring to it!
Customer Review: Solid, great value, bit of a challenge to assemble Sport shop rating: 4 StarsIf you want a mini-trampoline, I can recommend this one. It is built like a battleship, but assembly is non-trivial -- you need at least two adults (the instructions recommend three) to fight against the tension to pop everything in place. No big deal, but you are not going to put this together by yourself -- you can hurt yourself if something pops back due to the high tensions involved. The instruction book could use larger and clearer pictures. The legs screw on, and one of the legs in mine was slightly out-of-round, making for some stiff turning, but I got it on. There is an 800 number to call the manufacturer for any problems. I didn't need to call. We like this mini-trampoline.
