Description of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band TrampolineLots of jumping fun for one! Mini, 38" trampoline features tension bands, a durable powder-coated steel frame and a sturdy polypropylene surface. Measures 38" in diameter x 13" high. Bounce your way to fitness and fun on this durable, springless mini-trampoline. Using super-strong elasticized bands of webbing instead of potentially dangerous metal springs, this tramp provides a high intensity, low impact workout as well as a great indoor activity for rowdy kids. Standing at about 9 inches high by 38 inches round (slightly larger than conventional 36-inch jogger trampolines) it features a durable polypropylene jumping mat; a sewn-on, thickly padded stretch-band cover for its no-pinch springs; large rubber feet for stability; and a rust-resistant frame. This tramp is also completely collapsible for convenience and easy storage--always a welcome feature. Although the larger springless trampolines have been criticized for not being as bouncy as conventional metal-spring ones, safety is perhaps a greater consideration for a mini-trampoline such as this that will be used indoors. --Deb Oroszlan
Sports reviews of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band TrampolineCustomer Review: Don't waste your time Sport shop rating: 1 StarsWow, what a let down.
No instructions were included. Near impossible assembly. The metal parts were typical Chinese junk. Precision and tolerance are apparently not something in the Mandarin vocabulary.
This junk is going back. I'm getting a Needak.
Customer Review: Bouncy fun for the whole family! Sport shop rating: 4 StarsMy small children (6.5, 4.5, & 2.5) love the Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band Trampoline! In our climate, we can use it indoors and out, year-round. If you live in a cold climate (and have a decent-sized play area) this (or any mini-trampoline) would be a great indoor-active choice.
The price was right.
The assembly was easy.
I LOVE the "super-strong elasticized bands of webbing instead of potentially dangerous metal springs"! I wanted a little tramp for the kiddies, but I was really very concerned about the "spring vs. long, pretty hair", or "spring vs. fabulous, flowing princess dress", or "spring vs. whatever-crazy-crap-my-kid-is-holding-while-jumping" problems. The super-strong, nylon webbing seems a great solution. No one has been hurt. No one has even taken note of the springless aspect of this item. It is VERY "springy" without springs!
My only complaint with this product -- and indeed it bothers ME quite a bit -- is that the blue, vinyl COVER for the "super-strong elasticized bands of webbing" TEARS VERY EASILY. Santa Claus brought this item to my 2.5 year-old girl, and by February, the vinyl cover was torn in multiple places. None of my three kids actively tore the material; it was shredded through normal use. I used plastic packing tape to bandage it, and that has been OK. The item DOES have a "limited" warranty, but I have not taken the time to find out if this blue "spring" cover is -- you know -- COVERED.
Anyway, if you can deal with that cosmetic issue, I'd say, "BUY THIS ONE"! (The Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band Trampoline.) We have enjoyed it immensely.
Customer Review: Not bad for the price Sport shop rating: 4 StarsIf I had waited I could have saved $10 as Amazon is now selling this item for $29.99. But that's just my kind of luck. I gave it 4 stars because of the long wait and the pain of putting it together. It may have been a tad easier with another person but I just could not wait to put it together after waiting almost 5 weeks for it to arrive. (I know it says it is shipped between 3-5 weeks but I figured they were overshooting with this estimate as they sometimes do. How wrong I was! It must have come over on a slow boat from China!)
You start out with 4 separated pieces of the frame and put each half together first. It's a little tricky and it takes a wee little muscle power in your arms. Then you need to make sure you have the bands evenly spaced between the leg screws. It works out to 5 bands between each leg screw. The last part, when you put the two half circles together at the lip, was not that hard even though that's supposed to be the most difficult part. (I had a tougher time with the first few steps.) I do recommend another person just for safety sake. It has a nice bounce which is not too firm and not too much give. No problems with rust or anything and it looks to be a sturdy piece. I will do an update as I am going to use this to get my daily steps in and help with my weight loss.
Customer Review: Great for Special needs kids Sport shop rating: 5 StarsThis is the safest indoor trampoline for young kids we have found. Putting it together takes 2 people, but once it is done it is very sturdy. The individual elastic bands prevent breakage from uneven wear & avoid the pinching of springs. We are very glad we found this great trampoline. All of the other ones for kids that we tried in the past didn't last 6 months. We highly recommend this product!
Customer Review: Not So Scary After All Sport shop rating: 5 StarsHaving read some of the reviews on the assembly of this mini tramp, I was foolishly scared of the thing when my husband and I set out to put it together. It took two of us a max of fifteen minutes to put it together. The key is to read and follow the instructions and set aside the intimidation factor (if you have read some of the reviews here at any rate). The hardest part was putting the edge cover on and that did require two sets of hands. As to the use of it, I find that it is a good way for me to get some exercise when the roads and sidewalks are icy. It may not have as much bounce as the spring type trampoline, but it has enough bounce to give your knees relief while getting your heart rate up. Put on some of your favorite up-tempo music and run, bounce, hop, jumping jack, or dance away (also good to use while watching cooking or other programs on tv that don't require concentration).
