Description of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band Trampoline

38" Mini Trampoline is a great perfect use for body toning exercise workout while you watch your favorite sports game. Durable steel frame and elastic suspension system and with safe design with high tension bands (no springs means no sharp spring ends) for hours of fun. Dependable polypropylene jumping surface mat. With high-intensity, low impact workout. Meets or exceeds all ASTM safety standards.
Bounce your way to fitness and fun on this durable, springless mini-trampoline. Using super-strong elasticized bands of webbing instead of potentially dangerous metal springs, this tramp provides a high intensity, low impact workout as well as a great indoor activity for rowdy kids. Standing at about 9 inches high by 38 inches round (slightly larger than conventional 36-inch jogger trampolines) it features a durable polypropylene jumping mat; a sewn-on, thickly padded stretch-band cover for its no-pinch springs; large rubber feet for stability; and a rust-resistant frame. This tramp is also completely collapsible for convenience and easy storage--always a welcome feature. Although the larger springless trampolines have been criticized for not being as bouncy as conventional metal-spring ones, safety is perhaps a greater consideration for a mini-trampoline such as this that will be used indoors. --Deb Oroszlan

Sports reviews of Airzone 38-Inch Mini Band Trampoline

Customer Review: Great rebounder, great price!
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I am a senior citizen who turned to rebounding in search of a simple and relatively gentle form of aerobic exercise. I weigh 140 lbs, and I normally do rebounding for 20 minutes every other day. I have had my Airzone 38-inch mini-trampoline for a month and am very satisfied with it so far, especially when comparing it with the Stamina InTone 38-inch jogger which I owned previously. Unlike the Stamina product, which had springs that began to snap in two within the first two months of use, the Airzone trampoline uses no springs. I consider the springless design much safer. Also, I find the Airzone's bounce to be noticeably softer than that of the Stamina, a plus for aging knees. The rubber end-caps on the Airzone's legs have not made black marks on my carpet as the Stamina's did, nor have the legs cut through the bottoms of the caps as the Stamina's did. I attribute this to a better quality of rubber as well as to a better end-cap design. The Airzone was not particularly difficult to assemble. My husband and I managed to do it in less than half an hour. The only drawback I've found in the Airzone is its lack of a handlebar, which the Stamina jogger had and is the reason I originally bought a Stamina rather than an Airzone. But not to worry -- the handlebar from the discarded Stamina fits quite nicely on the Airzone, so I now have the best of both worlds.

Customer Review: Great trampoline at a great price
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is my third mini-trampoline. I previously owned two trampolines with the springs, but the springs would fall off after awhile. This trampoline appealed to me because it doesn't have springs. As for assembly, my husband and I took less than 30 minutes to put it together. It is not in four pieces, as someone said. It is a one-piece springy mat to jump on that is folded over to conserve space in the box. There are four pieces of metal, each one holding the elastic bands on each quadrant of the trampoline. My husband attached two of the metal bars together easily. Then he lined up the other two and laid down on the trampoline so it would be flat. Then I stood on two corners of the trampoline while he put in the bolts. The plastic siding is not hard to put on. You just put it on as you go, while putting the legs through the holes in the plastic as you go. This part does not take 3 people, as someone said. I like jumping on this. It's not as springy as my past trampolines with springs, but I still feel I get a good workout. I use it 5 days per week for 30 minutes each time. I feel it's a good deal for the money. Hopefully the elastic bands will not break over time.

Customer Review: BUNCH OF WIMPS
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

I just received my Airzone 38-inch mini-band trampoline. I was a bit leary, as grown men have been complaining in their reviews that they landed in the EMERGENCY room trying to put this thing together.

Well, I'm a 125 pd. 42- year old mom, discreetly trying to put it together ALONE so my husband doesn't know I ordered something else from AMAZON. I would have to say it took me less than a 1/2 hour from start to finish. The trick is to pry one side UNDER the edge of something (a couch for me) while you push the other side flat. I had no problem with legs not fitting, etc.

I work out while watching TV, so the noise from my old trampoline with springs was driving me BATTY! This trampoline is QUIET!

I'm not saying it is going to hold up forever, BUT so far so good - I will repost if I encounter any problems. I will be using it 3x per week for 1/2 each.

Thanks AMAZON

UPDATE: I am returning this - it just doesn't have enough bounce. BUMMER

Customer Review: This is a well made, small, indoor trampoline
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

This is a well constructed, solid, small, indoor trampoline. Assembly was easy with 3 adults. There are times during assembly when there is a lot of tension as the trampoline is stretched. This is not a single adult assembly project.

You will find no springs on this unit, everything is done with elastic. The ability to jump high is very limited. The support legs (poles) screw in to threaded sockets which are very securely welded onto the circular frame. There is a plastic protector which covers the elastic connectors (connectors which attach the trampoline mat to the circular metal frame) this keeps kids safe from touching any moving part that could expand or contract and hurt them.

Over the 38 inches there are a total of 6 support legs. I believe this trampoline could support far in excess of the rated 200 lbs, but of course would never try it. If you want a well constructed, small, indoor trampoline, this is a great product.

Customer Review: Not So Scary After All
Sport shop rating: 5 Stars

Having read some of the reviews on the assembly of this mini tramp, I was foolishly scared of the thing when my husband and I set out to put it together. It took two of us a max of fifteen minutes to put it together. The key is to read and follow the instructions and set aside the intimidation factor (if you have read some of the reviews here at any rate). The hardest part was putting the edge cover on and that did require two sets of hands. As to the use of it, I find that it is a good way for me to get some exercise when the roads and sidewalks are icy. It may not have as much bounce as the spring type trampoline, but it has enough bounce to give your knees relief while getting your heart rate up. Put on some of your favorite up-tempo music and run, bounce, hop, jumping jack, or dance away (also good to use while watching cooking or other programs on tv that don't require concentration).
