This thing is the best of it's kind around. We've tried the more conventional hard plastic versions, and they are to difficult to throw and don't fly as far. These things are great because they're so easy to catch too. The rubber around the edge gives it a better grip and a softer catch. Extremely light weight.Customer Review: Great for Dogs

I can't agree with all of the positive reviews. I was convinced by the reviews and purchased the Superdisc. It flies pretty good but I don't like the lack of choice of a color; I got green and that is my least favorite normal color. Also, my 6 and 3 year old grnadsons won't even attempt to throw the Superdisc. I guess they were discouraged by other flat disc toys.
