The AeroPress is an entirely new way to make coffee, American style or Espresso style for use in lattes, cappucinos and other espresso based drinks. AeroPress brews simply delicious coffee, 1-4 cups per pressing. Ideal water temperature and faster brewing yields rich flavor with lower acidity and without bitterness. Other brewing processes use near boiling water and long exposure to coffee grounds. Quickly brew a variety of coffee drinks including an Americano or an espresso-style shot for use in lattes or cappuccinos. Its total-immersion system permits extraction at a moderate temperature and a short brew time. Water and grounds are mixed together for 10 seconds, then gentle air pressure pushes the mix through a micro-filter in just 20 seconds, which avoids the bitterness of long processes such as drip brewing. The air pressure also gently squeezes the last goodness from the grounds, further enriching the flavor. The total brewing time of only 30 seconds results in an exceptionally smooth brew. Imagine that! An espresso maker for just $[...] bucks, and it makes a delicious cuppa!
Combined with the Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, Chrome whisk, this thing is the cat's pajamas and repeatedly gives me the most delicious cup of coffee I've ever tasted.
No joke, and at age 66 I've tasted plenty of bad coffee, you have my promise. If you like espresso, you'll love this little thing. Watch the video.

Best coffee ever! Not one bit bitter, just full bodied and smooth! Now, please don't use the scorched beans that Starbucks roasts; use a true good coffee. Produces no sediment, easy to clean. Having the three parts laying around is a little unpleasant, but the quality of the coffee makes up for it. I am no doubt a coffee snob from Europe, and this is the best cup of coffee one can make. To avoid any hint of bitterness, just make sure you let the water cool a bit so that it is no longer boiling before you pour it into the cylinder.Customer Review: Great little coffee maker

I am very picky about my coffee. I only like espressos I get at restaurants and coffee shops about half the time. If you use a standard meat thermometer to ensure the water is between 175 and 185 degrees F the result is truly outstanding. It makes great espresso as well as coffee. You can easily control the acidity by using hotter water. I have owned espresso machines ranging from $100 to $300 and this little unit beats them hands down. Fantastic product!

My sister actually recommended this little coffee maker to me. While she uses hers every day, I only use mine when camping. However, if I had a natural gas powered stove or one of those electric kettles, I'd probably use it all the time -- it just takes way too long for water to boil on my electric stove.
If you use this while camping, you'll love it. It's easy to use and cleans up nicely. It really makes fabulous coffee.

A very ease to use, one cup, coffee maker.
Pros:
- add hot water, make the coffee the correct temperature
- cup-by-cup, always fresh and newly made
- easy to use, and easy to clean
Cons:
- many parts, even though it is of good quality, some items can be broken and then the coffee maker cannot be used
- none other
