I purchased this item because of the imposing looking strike bezel, the lumen output and the comparative low price to similar models. It feels solid but eats batteries like crazy. It gets incredibly hot and really can only be used for a short time of about 15 minutes, running continuously. After three uses and three battery replacements, I gave up on it. I replaced it with the Duracell Day Light with 160 lumens at half the price and am very happy with my new flash light.

ATN J125 Tactical Flashlight with 125 Lumen halogen bulb suitable for the outdoor enthusiast. This is an anti-shock flashlight that has a shockproof lamp assembly with triple anti-shock springs which is designed to withstand accidental drops and remain water resistant. This helps to prevent damage to the lamp and prevents a reduction in lamp life. Features include: a modular bezel in front which can be used as a striking/ defensive tool. It can also be used as a powerful defensive flashlight - in a dark atmosphere, if a suspect or attacker is affected by the 125 lumens they will experience 10 seconds of transient blindness. Aircraft grade aluminum; twist for constant on or tailcap button for momentary on; flawless white beam. It is powered by (2) 3V lithium 123A batteries.
