I bought this item with mixed feelings, wondering just how sturdy a collapsible crate can be. I was pleasantly surprised by it. We have a 70lb crate trained dog and it works for him without any problems. It's easy to take when traveling by car, easy to set up, and durable. It folds down to a horizontal tube about 48" x 6" x 6". We've owned ours for two years now and we couldn't be more positive about this purchase. Our dog has secured ownership of it for day use, as well as for when crating him when traveling. For a crate trained dog, I can recommend this item without hesitation. It is an useful, innovative, wonderful item. I'm going to purchase another one for future use should we adopt another dog.
I wouldn't recommend it for dogs that dig, scratch or are not crate trained. It wouldn't be durable enough for that type of dog. The material is made of canvas.

I bought this crate for my Brittany. He loves it. I actually bought it..not for the travel capabilities but for the size and large door on the wider side of the crate. It has a close to brilliant construction in that it is made to fold up similarly to a folding chair that people take to sporting events. The bag for transporting it is very similar to those as well. My brittany who is only <40 lbs. Has plenty of room for him, his bed, and plenty of toys and comfort items. My only issue, which isn't a problem with the product itself.. but the zipper takes some time to open and close..minor detail.Customer Review: Labrador Retreiver

When my lab was younger this was the perfect crate for her to stay in while i went out. Now that she weighs 85 lbs its too small for daily use so I only use it when staying at my sisters house or a friends house. I like the fact that it is easy to transport and quick to set up which is very convienent. Its made of nylon and very durable and she doesnt seem to mind being in it. My only suggestion is that if you purchase one be sure to get some type of bedding to use with it since the bottom is nylon and it can be uncomfortable if placed on a hard surface.Customer Review: Great Collapsable crate

This crate is easy to set up and collapses down to a manageable size. However, I did not receive the crate in the photo. Either the crate in the photo is an older style or I received an older style. I was looking forward to the mesh sides as opposed to the solid sides. I kept the crate anyway.
My dog thinks it is wonderful and jumped in it before I had it up all the way.

The storable dog kennel is a very nice concept, well built except for the locking/unlocking device. It takes a lot of fooling around at times to get it to lock in place. Some times it works perfectly, the next time it might take 5 minutes to get it to work.
