I don't think the reading on this is accurate at all because it doesn't give the correct orientation of my house. I verified this another compass as well. Besides it looks really cheap. Of course for the price I cannot expect anything sophisticated, but it should at least point correctly to North. I would not trust this one to find directions if you need to do so on a hike, camp etc.
