I purchased this item after watching some UFC fighters training with them and I must admit that it is definitely different from using a regular dumbbell. I have a 35lb hex style dumbbell and I have used it for years but I love the kettle bell. For some reason the 35lb kettle bell feels heavier. I think its the distribution of the weight. I was looking for a kettle bell to use for squats.
The wide handles makes them perfect for squats, lunges, and of course clean and presses.
I ended up getting 2 so I could use them while doing walking lunges. They're also great for weighted step ups.
Highly recommend!

IF you are looking into working out with a Kettlebell, this is the ideal product you are looking for. Great starting wieght for all begginers into the kettlebell workouts. I have been using kettlebells for about a year now, and have been more than pleased with the results that I have seen. I recommend Kettlebells to everyone I meet. This product is great, but if you are looking into long term use I Would suggest buying a kettlebell with a rubber bottom. I have slammed this kettlebell in the ground a few times and have noticed small chips at the base of the product. However this does not hinder the equipment or the workouts with the product. I now own about 3 kettlebells and after my initial purchase have bought products with rubber bottoms and have not had the problem of chipping at the base. In Conclusion, buy this product if you are curious, or want to get into kettlebell excersizes.
