Customer Review: The best band for the buck...

I've been an avid watch collector for the past 15 years, so I've experienced with every type of band and strap available. I dislike leather and other "natural" bands - besides being ridiculously expensive $150 - $500 range...(come on, for a watch band???) they collect sweat like there's no tomorrow. Nasty, icky situation after you take the watch off - and they do smell! Now, I don't go and work out with my watches, I'm talking about regular wear, in "regular" weather (continental Europe, mid-West US) and after a year or two of wearing it. Metal bands, sometimes they cause a bit of a rash (maybe is cheap construction laced with chemicals?! I do not know!) So, rubber was the natural selection for me. Super comfortable to wear, the clasp adds a touch of sophistication to it. It is a snap to replace the original bands with this 18mm MODENA Flat Italian Rubber Watch Band, if you have the proper tools you can do it at home yourself in less than 2 minutes! I replace the original band on my Baume & Mercier Capeland GMT Reveil - Today it was the 1st time I wore it (with the new band) people were asking me about the watch (& the band!) - Highly recommended!
