I purchased this because we were traveling for 3 weeks with alot luggage(8 bags).It seems one is always over weight. It work great for the first 2 weeks with out a problem, HOWEVER in the 3rd WEEK IT JAM AND THE ONLY WAY TO UNJAM IT WAS TO TAKE OUT THE BATTERY. This happen a couple times after that,unfortunately we are home and won't be traveling for a couple more months. I will keep you up to date.
UPDATE: 9/1/2009 As of this date we recently used it again and it it work GREAT with no problems

This luggage scale is a really great buy; I've had it now over a year and it still works great. My sister used mine to weigh her luggage for an international flight and it was very accurate with the scale at the airport. She bought one on her return home. Again this is a really great buy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I find the handle a bit small/narrow; they should have made a wider handle for picking up by both hands for heavier luggage; that's my only con. Get one you won't be sorry; no more stressing over whether or not your luggage is too heavy; get this scale and your weight worries when traveling will be over.Customer Review: Good scale but....

This is a good portable scale and use regular batteries, my only conplain is the battery cover, it is loose (from the start) so I have to
put a piece of tape to keep it in place.

My Balanzza worked great for the first trip or so, and then died. I press the ON button, the unit displays HELLO for a moment and then displays "out-0" and displays "bye" in about 5 seconds. There is no support available, so I sent an email to the company. Hope they respond.
